Ski stick with a device for preventing the theft of skis

In order to avoid the theft of skis there is drawn, out of the handle of one of the two ski sticks, a steel cable which is fastened on a steel spring in the interior of the ski stick. Said steel cable is then wound around the skis and the post against which they are standing and is secured by means of a lock which is attached on the steel-cable end and is plugged into a bore in the ski-stick handle. The steel cable has to be wound, with little clearance, tightly around the skis and post, between the ski binding. Apart from posts, there are a number of other fastening possibilities. When the anti-theft device has been removed, the steel spring draws the steel cable back into the ski stick. <IMAGE>
