The invention has the aim of producing a play-free, torsionally rigid and flexurally elastic coupling, by use of a circular or annular membrane, or shear-stressed or tension-stressed rods or straps which are fitted as torque-transferring elements between two coupling hubs, and which are produced from a plastic having a fibre content of at least 60%, the element or elements serving for torque transfer being connected by means of a screw or plug connection to the driving or driven hub of the coupling halves.
