<p>An articulated pipe discharge ramp (1,14) attachable to a pipelaying vessel (2) for guiding a pipeline (7, 25) being laid comprises a plurality of elongated interconnected members (3a, 3b, 4a, 4b, 4c, 4d, 28, 29,40,41) arranged in end-to-end relationship, and joints (9, 10; 21,22,23,24) interconnecting each pair of said segments to permit said segments to flex in any direction within a preselected angle. Each joint (9, 10, 21, 22,23,24) comprises two sockets (35a, 36a; 49a, 50a), each in adjacent ends of the pair of segments, and two interconnected socket-filling members.</p> |
