PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To comparatively simplify and miniaturize connection structure between a cable and a connector for facilitating connecting work by integrally crimping a plurality of conductors and a grounding foil to a crimp terminal arranged in the connector. SOLUTION: A flat cable 2 contains a ribbon cable 4, which is provided with multiple conductors and a grounding foil 12. The vicinity of the end part of the ribbon cable 4 is arranged to cross the rear part of a connector 52, so that the conductors are positioned in slots for crimping. By means of a standard crimping tool, the conductors are put into the slots so as to penetrate an insulating web. In this way, gas resistant electrical connection is accomplished between the end part of a crimping tine constituting the slots and the conductors. The crimp tine in the connector 52 is adequately long to penetratingly extend to the top part of the ribbon cable 4 through an insulating coating. The grounding foil 12 to be cut away can be connected to the crimp tine with simple termination crimping work. |
