FIELD: manufacture of containers for ready-to-eat or hot food. SUBSTANCE: method involves making rectangular aluminum foil body, with eyelets being preliminarily cut out of blank material in the vicinity of upper part of body. Pot body is made such that it may be rolled. Such method allows cover to be eliminated from construction. Eyelets may be connected one to another and folded parts may be brought one to another to define portion serving cover. EFFECT: simplified method and increased efficiency of produced pot.
