Earth is turned by a forwardly towed tool comprising two rotors and an optional point. Viewed in the direction of travel, the front rotor rotates like a wheel in the towing vehicle, and the rear (or turning) rotor rotates in the opposite direction. - A cyclic process exists for the two rotors so that the turning rotor receives its feed of earth, and after turning it can lay it back to an appropriate rear position. Both rotors are separately driven by a direct-coupled hydraulic motor, and in such a manner that their directions of rotation can be controlled independently. |
