PURPOSE:To improve an S/N ratio and to make a tracking servo easier, by forming a light reflecting film and heat insulation film in order on a flat substrate, by forming a photosensitive film on the heat insulation film, and fixing tightly a translucent protective layer forming a servo track. CONSTITUTION:A light reflecting film 2 is formed on a substrate 1 made of a flat resin such as an acrylic resin or inorganic material such as an SiO2 with a metal such as Al and Au by means of a vacuum deposition. Thereafter, a heat insulation layer 3 is formed with a resin such as an acrylic resin or an inorganic material such as SiO2 having a more transparent and lower heat conductivity than those of the film 2. Then, a photosensitive film 4 is formed by means of spin coating of the solvent solution of an organic coloring matter. A discoid recording medium is produced by adhering a transparent protective layer 5 having a servo track 7 consisting of concave groove of spiral or centric circle shape at its non-recorded part so that the servo track 7 side adheres tightly to the film 4. A laser light 9 is irradiated to the medium from the protective layer 7 side to form a recording bit 8 at the film part 4 facing a hollow part 6 between tracks 7. As a result, a tracking servo at the time of recording and reproduction is made to be easier. |
