PURPOSE:To attain proper guidance with superior vidual recognition, by selectively displaying a map having a proper scale-reducing factor in accordance with map information read out by an image pickup means and also displaying the current position of a moving body. CONSTITUTION:The maps of the same area are previously photographed in a microfilm 5 multiplexly at different scale-reducing factors. Respective maps are accessed and their images are picked up by an image pickup device 6. In accordance with the map information read out by the image pickup device 6, a map of which scale-reducing factor is changed is selectively displayed on a display 7 and the current position of the moving body is also displayed on the screen in accordance with the scale-reducing factor. The current position of the moving body is detected by the outputs of a distance detector 1 and a direction detector 2. |
