PURPOSE:To access data endlessly, by adding a controller with the function of specifying endless file access, and the function of specifying the end of an endless file. CONSTITUTION:An area of an auxiliary storage medium 3a where the endless file is stored is determined; the mark for the end of the endless file is written at the address part A of the final data of the area and the starting address of the area is written at a substitute address part respectively. A controller 2 starts seeking at the access starting address of a control block in an electronic computer 1. If there is the ending mark of the endless file at the address part A of the auxiliary storage medium 3a after the seeking, a substitute address is seeked again, and the access point is positioned at the head of the file. Once the transfer of data of access size is completed, a next address is read and set in the access start address of the control block. |
