<p>: The invention relates to an apparatus for controlling a discontinuously flowing material flow and for measuring a value proportional to this material flow and a further physical magnitude, particularly for measuring heat quantities, preferably in central heating apparatus. The apparatus has at least one self-regulating flow valve for allowing flow-through of a constant material flow, and an on/off material through-flow valve connected in series with the flow valve, controlled by a third physical magnitude. This allows the product of two magnitudes that are connected with one another, for example material quantity and temperature, to be measured in the simplest possible manner.</p> |
