PURPOSE:To convert a fixed rotation into a fixed linear reciprocation and a U- turn reversion in the intermediate part thereof for putting a device requiring the said movements into practical use economically. CONSTITUTION:When a shaft 1 is rotated to revolve a gear 4 at 90 deg. as an arrow shows via an arm 3, an internal gear 2 is shifted upward by the distance of a half diameter of the gear 2 without rotating round its axis as it is restrained from lateral oscillation by fixed guide frames 5 and 5'. Then, when the gear 4 is revolved furthermore at 180 deg., the internal gear 2 is rotated round its axis at 180 deg. without changing the engagement position with the gear 4. When the gear 4 is furthermore revolved at 90 deg., the internal gear 2 is shifted downward by the distance of a half of its diameter this time. In this construction, the internal gear 2 makes a linear reciprocation with a U-turn reversion on the way on every one rotation of the shaft 1 for dying silk thread effectively in a drying device 11 of a silk thread 10. |
