PURPOSE:To improve the accuracy of centering of a disc, by responding split nails forming a collet at a tapered section of a truncated cone of a projected shaft of a turntable. CONSTITUTION:When a hub 2 of the disc 1 is placed on a ring 23 of the turntable 18 and depressed with a pressing section freely turnably together with the ring 23 via a ball bearing 14, nails 21 split equally via a slot forming the collet 20 are displaced in response to the taper of the truncated cone at the tip of a projecting shaft 15 of the table 18, the shaft 15 and the hub 2 are coupled and fixed concentrically and this state is held via the turning pressing section. Thus, the accuracy of centering of the disc is improved and the state of accuracy is kept stably, and the disc holder which attains the improvement of the S/N and the reduction in malfunction is obtained. |
