PURPOSE:To arrange parts correctively and to facilitate operation by fitting an electric signal generating mechanism to a shaft coupling directly with a turnable knob, and fitting an electric signal generating mechanism to a shaft coupling loosely with the former shaft in the axial direction. CONSTITUTION:For example, a variable resistance 22 is coupled with the knob 21 through the shaft 23 and the rotary power generating source 26 consisting of a speed change gear 24 and a motor 25 is coupled loosely by the shaft 27 to cause a slip from the shaft 23, preventing a slide from the rotary power generating source 26. For example, when this is utilized for a microwave oven, the knob 21 is rotated to a position corresponding to prescribed power and a power setting switch 31 is pressed; and then the knob 21 is rotated at an angle corresponding to a specific operation time and a start and timer switch 32 is pressed. A motor 25 is started and the knob 21 is returned to its initial state in a time set by a timer. Consequently, the parts are arranged intensively and the operation is facilitated. |
