PURPOSE:To expand the minimum measuring range and to reduce pressure loss at the time of large flow rate by symmetrizing the sectional shape of a vortex generating element horizontally and vertically in a device using Karman's vortex street and setting up the maximum horizontal width differently from the maximum vertical width. CONSTITUTION:The vortex generating body 2 symmetrized vertically and horizontally, satisfied with the condition of 0.15<d/D<0.35 in width (d) and a conduit width (D) and provided with either right or left maximum width different from the other one is set up in the conduit 1. In addition, the titled device is provided with shafts 4, 5 to support the rotary shafts 2a, 2b of the vortex generating body 2, a pulse motor 6 to rotate the vortex generating body 2 and a vortex detecting means 3 at the downstream of the vortex generating element 2. Consequently, range ability can be expanded. |
