PURPOSE:To simplify a structure and extend a life by coupling a sliding piece into multiple notched grooves provided radially on the periphery of a cylindrical inner rotor so that sliding pieces are pressed to an outer rotor by means of the centrifugal force due to the rotation of the inner rotor. CONSTITUTION:A cylindrical inner rotor 2 is arranged coaxially in a cylindrical outer rotor 1 so that the inner rotor 2 is driven by a motor through a rotary shaft 3. A plurality of notched grooves 2a are formed radially on the outer periphery of the inner rotor 2, and sliding pieces 6 with a curved outer surface corresponding to the inner surface of the outer rotor 1 are coupled slidably in individual grooves 2a. The above mentioned clutch mechanism is operated so that the inner rotor 2 is rotated in conjunction with the outer rotor 1 when the inner rotor 2 is rotated at a high speed and the sliding pieces 6 are thrown outward to be pressed on the inner peripheral wall of the outer rotor 1 by means of the centrifugal force. Accordingly, a highly reliable operation can be available for a long time. |
