PURPOSE:To increase to twice the amount of transfer data by utilizing not only leading, but also trailing edges of a response signal of data transfer between equipments. CONSTITUTION:Data is transferred between the channels 2 of a processor 1 and an input/output device I/O3 through an interface signal line group 4. The signal line group 4 consists of TAGs 1 and 2, BUSIN, etc. When data 1 is transferred from the I/O3 to the BUSIN, the TAG1 rises in level from 0 to 1. The channel 2 receives the data 1 from the BUSIN because of the transition of the TAG1 from 0 to 1, and the TAG2 goes up from 0 to 1. Then, the I/O3 changes the data 1 on the BUSIN into data 2 when the TAG2 changes from 0 to 1, and the TAG1 changes from 1 to 0. The channel 2 receives the data 2 from the BUSIN when the TAG1 changes from 1 to 0 and the TAG2 changes from 1 to 0. Consequently, the data transfer is speeded up by utilizing the trailing edges of the signal. |
