PURPOSE:To obtain reliable power transmission while allowing eccentricity by connecting a drive shaft and a driven shaft together through an elastic body coupled with rigid rings around both ends so that one end is coupled with a connecting pin and the heteromorphic hole of the other end is coupled with a heteromorphic shaft. CONSTITUTION:When the drive shaft 13 of a motor is to be connected to a driven shaft 21 supported by a bracket 24 through a bearing 23, first one end of a coupling member 15 made of an elastic body with metallic rings 16, 17 coupled around both ends is coupled with the drive shaft 13. Then, after a connecting pin 19 is inserted to penetrate the through holes 14, 18 provided on the drive shaft 13 and coupling member 15, a heat contracting tube 20 is covered around the ring 16 and is heated to contract, thus providing a stopper for the connecting pin 19. Next, a D-cut portion 22 at the tip of the driven shaft 21 is inserted into a D-shaped heteromorphic hole 26 at the other end of the coupling member 15, and the necessary connection is completed. |
