PURPOSE:To enable simple and accurate detection of possible disconnection by measuring an electric resistance between individual strands. CONSTITUTION:Leads 6 are each connected to one steel strand while separately to a constant voltage power source 7 and an ammeter 8 and energized. This makes the resistance of the lead 6 infinite corresponding to a steel strand disconnected. Thus, the disconnection of the steel strands can be detected individually. |
