PRODUCING DEVICE OF SINGLE CRYSTAL

摘要

PURPOSE:To reduce the size and weight of an electromagnet body and the size of an electric power source in a producing device for single crystal by providing an auxiliary magnetic pole made of a high magnetically permeable material in a pulling furnace. CONSTITUTION:An auxiliary magnetic pole 7 of a high magnetically permeable material such as an Fe-Co alloy is provided through a heat shield 6 in a pulling furnce 1 installed between the magnetic poles of an electromagnet 2 in a producing device for single crystal by a Czochralski method. The effective gap length in the magnetic circuit is decreased substantially by the installation of such pole 7. The magnetic field generated in the gap is thus increased. The uniformity of the magnetic field applied on the melt of a raw material is improved.
