PURPOSE:To synthesize ferrite stably and inexpensively by regulating the content of iron oxide expressed in terms of Fe2O3 and the amount of the oxide of a specified metal in a mixture to specified values and by subjecting the mixture to wet grinding accompanied by oxidation, mixing, dehydration and heating. CONSTITUTION:A mixture is prepared by adding >=1 kind of component selected from the oxides of Fe, Mn, Ni, Cu, Mg, Zn, Co, etc. or substances convertible into the metallic oxides by heating (metals are not included) to >=1 kind of metal selected from electrolytic manganese, electrolytic iron, ferromanganese, ferronickel, electrolytic zinc, etc. At this time, the content of iron oxide expressed in terms of Fe2O3 in the mixture is regulated to 36-60mol%, and the amount of >=1 kind of component selected from the oxides Of Mn, Ni, Cu, Mg, Zn, Co, etc. or substances convertible into the metallic oxides by heating is regulated to 64-40mol%. The mixture is subjected to wet grinding accompanied by oxidation, mixing, dehydration and heating to 800-1,450 deg.C. Ferrite is synthesized stably and inexpensively. |
