PURPOSE:To prevent the entry of spatters in a power feed part and to eliminate the interference in the feeding of an electrode wire by the spatters by forming a guide member in such a way that the forward end part thereof enters the bottomed hole of a contact member so as to be covered by the same. CONSTITUTION:The forward end part of a guide member 3 enters the bottomed hole 602 of a contact member 7 so as to be covered therewith; therefore, spatters are difficult to intrude into the feed passage for an electrode wire 17. Since the wire 17 is kept fed in an X1 direction at all times, the spatters are carried to the outside from the lower space of a through-hole 601 as the wire 17 is fed. Electricity is fed to the wire 17 while approximately half the circumferential part in the Y2 direction in the hole 601 is held in sliding contact with said wire at all times, whereby the entry of the spatters in the power feed part is obviated. |
