PURPOSE:To improve the reliability of a memory by providing read/write system instruction for read-modify-write function and performing modification so that all data storage instructions are executed as read/write system instruction. CONSTITUTION:A mode switching control line 1b is connected to an OR circuit 1 provided in series between a read-modify-write control line 1a and a signal line 1c. Further, the mode switching control line 1b is connected to a logical circuit 2 provided in series between a write control circuit 2a and a signal line 2b. Consequently, a write control signal is converted into a read-modify-write control signal to execute all data storage instructions as read/write system instructions, and a parity check on used data is made invariably during data storage. |
