PURPOSE: A custom-built publishing system is provided to manage authorship, production, and distribution of an intellectual property by using an information technique and a network. CONSTITUTION: A custom-built publishing system comprises a portal publishing application. The portal publishing application comprises a provider support module(211), a demander support module(212), a producer/distributor support module(213), and a manager support module(214). A method for a custom-built publishing system comprises the steps of: registering managing supply information, demand information, production information, distribution information, and management information about intellectual publication; and providing authorship, adaptation, fixing prices, a selective order, settlement, delivery information according to a request of a user.
