PURPOSE:To contrive performance of a high speed operation of a device and simplification of processing by a method wherein a storage time is divided into the constant exposure time with which a constant video output will be obtained and the storage time for the dummy video which varies according to storage time, the stored charge accumulated during the exposure time is picked out as a video output, and the exposure time is made constant without having the influence of a scanning clock frequency, thereby enabling to minimize the scanning time and to perform a high-speed operation of the device. CONSTITUTION:Two phase starting pulses sp 1 and sp 2 are prepared, and two MOS switches SW and DSW (to be used for dummy video) are provided per one bit. The stored charge between Tvid is picked out to a line 2 by the SW, and the stored charge between Tdum is outputted to a line 6 by the DSW. Accordingly, the fluctuations of Tint are absorbed by the line 2, and no influence is inflicted to the line 2. As a result, the slice level of a multiple-valued processing can be fixed even when fphi is changed. Also, the Tint can be varied in accordance with the necessary bit numbers by providing a clear line 7 and preventing the simultaneous ON at two bits or more at the same time on the line 2, thereby enabling to perform a scanning at the minimum scanning time. According to this constitution, a high-speed one-dimentional image sensor, whereon a distorsional correction is easily performed, can be obtained. |
