PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for consciousness of specific attribute such as performance of each peripheral equipment and a revised level in generating a basic software program by providing a nonvolatile memory storing an input/ output control program relating to its own equipment on an interface board. CONSTITUTION:The content of nonvolatile memories 301a-301f is transferred to an input/output control program storage area 211 of a main storage device 20 by the control of a CPU 10 at the startup of a system, for example and then executed. In corresponding a prescribed area on a memory space of the device 20 in advance to an address space for each nonvolatile memory, the content of each nonvolatile memory, that is, the input/output control program of inidividual peripheral equipments is transferred to generate a complete input/ output control program on the main storage device 20. |
