PURPOSE:To enable to perform seam welding without being influenced by the shape of materials to be welded while keeping seam weldability to the same degree as conventional by a method wherein a welding power source control means whereby a pair of rotary electrodes with vertical axis of rotation are driven by a seal-formed detection mechanism and the positional signal thereof without the generation of poor state of welding at corner parts is provided. CONSTITUTION:The angle of conduction control to the shape to be welded is previously inputted as the data by an electrode stand drive device 12 and a conduction control angle setting switch 17. First, an electrode stand 3 advances by a starting switch, next the rotary electrodes 1 descend and confirm the contact to the material 5 to be welded, and thereater the signal for rotation is emitted to a rotation-driven motor 6. The rotary electrodes are so controlled as to move on the figure of parts to be welded by the electrode stand drive part. On the other hand, the output of a rotary encoder 13 is always compared with the data by the conduction control angle setting switch 17 in an angle comparing operational part 16 whether it agrees or not during rotation. When the output agrees, fixed conduction control is performed by the amount of set angles, and accordingly the welding of corner parts is realized to the same level as of side parts. |
