<p>PURPOSE:To enable a biginner also to select an exposure controlling mode, by displaying a picture effect expressed by a program and discriminating whether the programmed exposure controlling mode enables the camera to take a picture of an object with respect to the luminance of the object or not. CONSTITUTION:Pictographs 3a-3e displayed on a display part 3 for the exposure controlling mode correspond to displays 6a-6e on a finder display part 6. The pictographs 3a, 3d are disphragm prior modes when focal depth is made long and short, respectively, the pictographs 3b, 3c indicate shutter second prior modes at high and low speeds, respectively and the 3e indicates a reference program mode. When a main switch is depressed, the display parts 3, 6 display the pictographs 3e, 6e, respectively. In every time when an exposure controlling mode selecting button 4 is depressed, each mode is displayed. At the depression of a photometric button 9, a built-in photodetector detects light, the displayd 3a-3e and 6a-6e are displayed and modes other than the automatic exposure mode are turned on and off in accordance with the luminance of the subject.</p> |
