PURPOSE:To enhance quality of coil and improve productivity by measuring wire diameter of wire material and automatically adjusting wire material feeding pitch and winding width during winding process based on such actually measured diameter of wire. CONSTITUTION:A self-bonding wire 1 is applied to a wire diameter measuring device 7, a measured wire diameter value A is input to a controller 23 and it is once stored therein. Meanwhile, a temporary setting value C of winding width of a single layer of formed winding is input to the controller 23. Such setting value C is divided by the measured wire diameter value A and it is then set as a number of turns D of a single layer. Moreover, it is multiplied with a measured line diameter value A. The result is determined as winding width E of a single layer. The wire 1 is wound around the core 9 by rotating both flanges 8 and 10. When a number of turns reaches the turns D of winding, the feed direction of winding core 9 is reversed and the winding operation of wire material is carried out for the second layer. Thereby, winding is not disturbed and coil quality can be enhanced and productivity can also be improved. |
