PURPOSE:To restrain nonuniform peripheral flow and unsteady flow in an intermediate stepped recess in a multi-stage flash type turbine or the like, by arranging a screen formed with holes having diameters gradually different in the peripheral direction, in an oblique flow passage outlet part for feeding low pressure steam to the intermediate stepped recess. CONSTITUTION:A screen 10 formed with several holes having diameters gradually different in the peripheral direction, is disposed in the outlet part of an oblique flow passage 9 for feeding low pressure steam, along the entire periphery. A suitable relation is given between the flow resistance through the screen 10 and the diameters of holes so that uniform flow is created and pulsations in the flow is suppressed for obtaining steady flow. |
