PURPOSE:To obtain the entitled photoreceptor low in dark decay and small in light fatigue, by interposing a silane coupling agent between a charge generating layer and a charge transfer layer. CONSTITUTION:A 0.01-10mum thick charge generating layer contg. <=40wt% org. pigment for generating charge, having formula I or II (R1-10 are each H, halogen, alkyl, aralkyl, acyl, hydroxyl, or optionally substd. phenyl, and R11, R12 are each H or alkyl) is formed on a conductive layer made of a metallic plate or paper or plastic film made conductive by treatment. The surface of this layer is coated with 10<-4>-10<2>mg/m<2> silane coupling agent, such as N-beta-(aminoethyl)- or-gamma-(aminopropyl)-trimethoxysilane, and on this layer a 5-50mum thick charge transfer layer is formed contg. a charge transfer substance, such as poly-N- vinylcarbazole. |
