INPUT DEVICE OF LARGE-AREA FIGURE

PURPOSE:To obtain input area twice as wide as before by providing input surfaces on a front and a rear side. CONSTITUTION:Input plates 1 and 2 are provided on the top and reverse of a base plate 3 which has a revolving shaft 51. The base plate 3 is fixed at a stop position by a stopper 12. The base plate 3 is rotated by detaching the stopper 12 to replace the input plate 1 with the plate 2 each other. The input plates 1 and 2 are each constituted by inserting a pressure sensitive rubber sheet between electrode sheets crossing each other at right angles and when a character and a figure are handwritten in chalk, the pressure sensitive sheet decreases in resistance value abruptly where the chalk is pressed, thereby inputting the position coordinates.
