PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To register a channel to be frequently viewed, to call the channel in one pushbutton operation and to immediately select the channel. SOLUTION: This system consists of a receiver to receive a multi-channel broadcast and of a remote controller 1. The remote controller 1 is provided with a channel number storage means (channel storage memory) to store different channel number corresponding to a ten-key 9 respectively and with a ten-key input mode changeover means 4 that switches an input mode of the ten-key 9 into a channel number input mode or a channel number storage means call mode. When the ten-key input mode changeover means 4 is switched into the channel number storage means call mode and any of the ten-keys 9 is depressed, the channel number stored in the channel number storage means corresponding to the depressed ten-key is called to select a channel. |
