Reversing machine for tubular articles

A machine for reversing flexible tubular articles, especially articles of clothing sewn on the left side, such as neckties, belts, sleeves or the like, is proposed. This machine does away with a manual reversing or carding operation. For this purpose, it possesses at least one receiving device movable respectively through one of the articles and having a holding device at the free end for retaining the article at the end remote from the entry orifice of the said article. It possesses, furthermore, a reversing device which consists of at least two oppositely moving conveying elements. The receiving device together with the respective article can be moved in between these conveying elements until these pull the article through between them away from the receiving device. At the same time, the receiving device is moved back away from the conveying elements at the conveying speed of the latter, the fastening end of the article being retained.
