PURPOSE:To perform firing and fuel injection smoothly by enabling control corresponding to the rotation of engine even when a crank angle sensor has failed. CONSTITUTION:Upon failure of a crank angle sensor 6, one or both of unit angle signal S1 and referential angle signal S2 is not outputted. This phenomena is decide by CPU2 to output an change-over signal S12 which will be high level upon failure. Voltage control oscillators 17, 18 will output the pulse signals S10, S11 having frequencies corresponding with the voltage signals S8, S9 which correspond with the engine speed. When said sensor 6 has failed to stop provision of ignition signal S5 and injection pulse S6, the selection circuits 19, 20 will output a pulse signal S10 as an ignition signal S13 and a pulse signal S11 as an injection pulse S14. The voltage signals S8, S9 are produced from a pulsating signal S7 by providing a suction signal S4 to a bypass filter 13 and an amplifier 14. |
