Apparatus for determining sporting pairings

An apparatus (11) for determining sporting pairings in team sports organised in a seasonal league is described, having two coaxial discs (12, 13) containing the individual teams and rotatable relative to one another, and a disc (14) provided with at least one cut-out window. In order to use the apparatus (11) in a simple manner both to determine the relevant pairings for each playing day of a season and to be able to allocate the respective playing partners of a particular team to the respective playing day determined, the three coaxial discs (12-14) which are rotatable relative to each other are each provided with segment areas distributed uniformly over the 360 DEG circumference, the number of which corresponds to the playing days in a round. Relative to the first, stationary disc (12), the second disc (13) can be adjusted to compare the appropriate segment areas and the third disc (14) to display relevant sporting pairings and to mask the other, opposite segment areas of the first and second discs (12, 13), such adjustment preferably being in the same direction of rotation, and the ratio of the angular rotation of the second disc (13) to the third disc (14) during adjustment being 2:1. <IMAGE>
