<p>A connection comprises one tube (2) with a wall opening (12), and a second tube (4) with its end contoured to and fitted against the first tube. A locking plug (8) is fixed to the second tube, interior adjacent to its contoured end and has an end projection (10) to fit into the opening and with a stem (14) extending into the first tube. - The stem end has an enlarged head (16) spaced from the first tube wall, and a retaining clip (18) is located between the head underside and tube wall to hold the two tubes together. The two tubes are pref. of PVC or ABS, and the first tube is cylindrical while the end of the second has a dia. less by 0.5-2% than the first. (1/9)</p> |
