PURPOSE:To make it possible to deliver sheets of paper one by one positively, by providing a paper sheet attracting and delivering mechanism with opposed arrays of small openings through which air currents are blown to the sides of the stacked sheets of paper. CONSTITUTION:The sheets (Q) placed on a table 8 are attracted by suction nozzles 24 in a rotating drum 21 and are led into a pinching port 27. At this time, the higher the position of the sheets (Q) is, the more the air is blown from the small openings 15 in a pair of blowing cylinders 14a, 14b, so that the uppermost sheet (Q) is positively separated from the rest and is prevented from being inclined because the air currents are blown from opposite directions. If two sheets are going to be delivered, the lower sheet is prevented from being delivered since the lower sheet is sucked by the sucking action of suction openings in a suction cylinder 11. |
