PURPOSE:To enable the center drawing of a machine plate with ease and high accuracy by the constitution wherein the contents of inputted data or the results calculated with an arithmetic unit for control are drawn in the non-drawing region of the machine plate by the operation of a pen head. CONSTITUTION:An automatic center drawing machine 1 for machine plate is provided with a plotter 2, an arithmetic unit 3 for control, a keyboard 4, an input-output device 5 for magnetic card and a display 6. The plotter 2 is provided with a plotting table 7 and has an X-axis moving frame 8 and a Y-axis rail 9. A pen head 11 can hold a drawing tool such as a ballpoint pen and is slidable along the Y-axis rail. The frame 8 and the head 11 are driven by a driving device. The drawing tool held by the head 11 moves together with the head 11 on the table 7 draws centers 18 on a machine plate 17 such as a PS plate.
