<p>The remote-control for roller blinds or for the winding up of curtains, is particularly suited for application to the rear windows of motor cars. It enables the driver to raise or lower the blind whilst remaining seated and driving the car. The control device can be applied to blinds of the type where one end edge of a flexible sheet of material is attached to a winding up shaft biased by a spring acting to rotate the shaft in the winding up direction. A pair of blinds are placed side by side at the base of the vehicles rear window. A central hook on each blind, connects to the cable or cords leading up to the stops which also acts as a guide prior to the cables being led through further guides to the winding drum on the output shaft of the motorised gear.</p> |
