PURPOSE:To exactly judge the degree of the true adhesion without affected by the change of rubber species by a method in which one end of a cord is buried in a rubber piece, the changing state of stress is observed intermittently during the vulcanization period, and the difference in the stress changing states with vulcanization of the rubber alone is obtained. CONSTITUTION:One end of a cord 11 is buried in a rubber piece 10 and the rubber piece 10 is vulcanized by heating, during which period a tension is applied to the cord 11 at proper time intervals to cause fine displacement to take place and stresses generated then are measured to obtain a curve A. On the other hand, for the rubber piece 10, the changing states of stress with time of vulcanization is measured by a vulcanization tester to obtain a curve B. The curve B is deducted from the curve A to obtain a curve C showing the stress of adhesion. |
