PURPOSE:To stabilize display of a good toner image for a long time, by alleviating to the min. an unfavorable effect of external light incident from the peep window of the display image onto an image bearing material exerted on a photoconductive material constituting the image bearing material. CONSTITUTION:A filter 14 for selectively intercepting wavelengths is arranged on the display image peep window 2. The filter 14 may be arranged separately from a transparent plate 3 made of glass or the like, or said filter also serviceable as the transparent plate may be used. The filter 14 used has a spectral transmissivity characteristics of intercepting short wavelength lights and IR rays excluding about 500- about 700nm wavelengths. Since this filter intercepts the short wavelength light ready to exert physical effects on a photoconductor and the IR rays deteriorating sensitivity of the photoconductor remarkably for several min. when illuminated with them among the external light incident from the window 2 onto the photoconductor, display of a good toner image can be stabilized for a long period of time. |
