PURPOSE:To prevent the intrusion of dust from outside, by enlosing completely all elements by means of a cover which encloses all elements excluding a coil, and a coil cover which is provided to a part of the above-mentioned cover so as to enclose the coil. CONSTITUTION:A cover 9 having its lower edge part fixed to a base 50 encloses disk 1, a magnetic head 2, a head arm 3, a disk rotary shaft 6 and a rotary shaft 7 excluding a coil 4. A coil cover 52 is provided with a slide opening part 51 of the cover 9 to enclose the coil 4 projected through the part 51 and then enclose completely all elements of a head assembly including the cover 9. The cover 52 consists of a thin plate 11 made of a pair of electrical good conductors extending almost in parallel to a bobbin 4' turned round the coil 4 and a spacer 15 which connects both plates 11 to each other. Thus no dust enters the head disk assembly even though it is located to or unloaded from a device main body 10. |
