PURPOSE: A microstrip antenna is provided to ensure an application for an indoor mobile communication base station by downsizing without gain loss. CONSTITUTION: A microstrip antenna(100) comprises a ground plate(110), a dielectric substance(120) stacked on the ground plate(110), a patch radiator(130) including a microstrip feeding line(131), and parallel flat plates(141,142). The microstrip feeding line(131) has one end shortcircuited to one end of the ground plate(110) and the other end extended from one upper end of the dielectric substance(120) and partially stacked thereto. The microstrip feeding line(131) is extended from the partially stacked portion to the other upper end of the dielectric substance(120), and then connected to an external connector. The two parallel flat plates(141,142) are distanced in both directions of the feeding line(131) and stacked on the other upper part of the dielectric substance(120) to obtain capacity with the patch radiator(130).
