<p>A device 1 for compacting garbage into and unloading thereof from a transportable bin 17 provided with an upper opening 33 for loading from the top, comprises a pusher shield or cap 3 for pushing the garbage towards an unloading opening at the rear of the bin, a loading hopper 5, and a pusher plate 12 driven by means 14 to push garbage from the hopper 5 through an opening 7 under the shield 3 and into the bin. The device is displaceable by means 27 from a first position, where the loading opening 6 of said hopper is aligned with said upper opening 33 of the bin, to a second unloading position adjacent said unloading opening of the bin to eject the garbage from the bin. <IMAGE></p> |
