<p>Warps for a circular loom are carried by guide eyelets directly mounted to bands passing round upper deflecting rollers at the level of the upper running ring of the loom. The gap between the upper and lower running rings, and the gap between guide eyelets, is calculated so that the shed angle is large enough to prevent the warps from fouling the shuttles. Design allows the height of the circular loom to be reduced, and also gives higher running speeds to increase productivity and the enlarged shed opening ensures that the shuttle has a clear passage.
