<p>The mechanism is intended for metering cake mixture or the like into baking tins from a supply container with bottom outlet . It comprises a dispensing head with inlet coupled by a bellows to the outlet and with a dispensing opening, and a closure member which, in a first position (full lines), closes the inlet and, in a second position (dotted lines), closes the opening. A storage cylinder coupled with the head connects , in that second position, with the inlet and, in the first position, with the opening. The head is carried between two swivel arms which are provided with means to move the head up and down (actuator , tooth rack meshing with gear on shaft with gears meshing with swivelable tooth racks ). Dispensing cake mixture or the like into baking tins. Only the dispensing head (not the filled container) moves up and down thus requiring only a light drive mechanism and minimising noise.</p> |
