PURPOSE:To use one kind of flip-flop circuit for both circuits as a latch type circuit and an edge trigger type circuit by switching based upon a mode signal. CONSTITUTION:NAND Circuits 71 and 72, 73 and 74, and 75 and 76 constitute the 1st, the 2nd, and the 3rd S-R circuits respectively. When the mode signal 101 is 1, OR circuits 77, 78, and 79 output 1 and the NAND circuits 71 and 74 operate as inverters to obtain the function of a latch circuit. When the mode signal 101 is 0, the outputs of the OR circuits 77, 78, and 79 are the same as an input except the mode signal input and this circuit operates as an edge trigger circuit which outputs a data signal 102 only when a timing signal 103 goes up from 0 to 1. |
