The fuse carrier for a printed circuit board or the like comprises two identical holders (1) each having an upstanding body portion (4) with two side flanges (12) forming a U-shaped section. Each flange has an extended foot (13) which slots in a corresp. board slot to locate the holder vertically. The upper end of the body is bent to form a depending spring arm (5) which faces the arm of the opposing holder and between which arms the fuse is supported. Each fuse end locates in a hole (16) formed in a depression (18) in the associated arm which has a lower stop (17) preventing the fuse being pushed below the arm as it is inserted from above. In addition two projecting side lugs on the arm abut the body flanges to restrict flexing of the arm towards the body on insertion of the fuse.
