PURPOSE:To equalize the melting and solidification of heat accumulating materials by a method wherein a plurality of the latent heat accumulating materials of different melting points are arranged in a casing according to the degrees of their melting points and a high temperature heat medium and a low temperature heat medium are supplied into the casing from on the side of the highest melting point heat accumulating material and from on the side of the lowest melting point heat accumulating materials, respectively, in an alternative fashion. CONSTITUTION:The latent heat accumulating materials 7, 9 and 11 have melting points higher one another in that order and vessels 8, 10 and 12 filled with the materials 7, 9 and 11, repsectively, are arranged in the casing 3 in the order shown in the drawing. Further, the heat medium 6' is flowed into the casing 3 from a port 4 on the side of the high melting point heat accumulating material 11 in the direction of the dotted line arrow when the melting point of the heat medium 6' is higher than those of the heat accumulating materials 7, 9 and 11. As a consequence, the heat medium 6' melts the high melting point heat accumulating material 11 when the former is at a high temperature and then melts the lower melting point heat accumulating materials 9 and 7 in sequence as the temperature of the heat medium 6' lowers. Then the heat medium 6 having a melting point lower than those of the heat accumulating materials 7, 9 and 11 is flowed into the casing from a port 5 on the side of the low melting point heat accumulating material to thereby enable the heat accumulating materials to discharge heat. Thus, with the above structure, the melting and solidification of the heat accumulating materials are equalized. |
