PURPOSE:To make it possible to execute sorting copy by using a limited amt. of sorter bins even if kinds of originals and destinations of copies increase, by assigning the sorter bins in accordance with the destinations. CONSTITUTION:The kinds of originals, their destinations, the amounts of copies needed by the destinations, etc. sent from a console 2 are stored in the memory of a microcomputer 3, and it assigns the sorter bins 5 in accordance with the destinations. When copying is started, the computer 3 applies control instruction in accordance with the memory contents to the controller 4 of the sorter bins 5 to eject the amt. of copies needed by the destination to each sorter bin assigned in accordance with the destination. Sorting copying can be executed using a limited amt. of sorter bins even is the kinds of originals and the number of destinations increase, by adoption of the method for assigning them in accordance with only the destinations, in place of assigning them in accordance with both of the kinds of originals and the destinations. |
